Yes, our Uplift 1 comes with adapters that enable you to fit the bike rack to roof rails without using a t-slot or track. The adapters can fit any cross bar with dimensions no greater than 60 mm wide and 30 mm high.

The Uplift 1 bike rack has been designed to fit either the left or the right hand side of the vehicle. The rear ratchet strap can easily be flipped to accommodate handling from either the left or the right side of the vehicle.

Yes, the Uplift 1 can be left on your car when not in use but it will result in poorer fuel economy of your vehicle and will age the rack more quickly. For longer seasonal breaks, we recommend removing the Uplift 1 and storing inside. Be sure to avoid drive through car washes with the Uplift 1 on your vehicle. Be sure to maintain the rack as recommended to keep the rack safely operational. Our maintenance guide is here.

No, the Uplift 1 bike rack can be adjusted to fit the roof bar spacing by simply sliding the rear mount of the Uplift 1. However, if you wish to have the bike sitting at a particular position on your roof, you may need to adjust your roof bars to accommodate.
