Not suitable for European Gooseneck tow balls.
Not suitable for interchangeable/convertible tow balls.
Interchangeable balls (convert-a-balls) are tow balls where you can change the ball in order to change the size without removing the shank from the tow bar.
Not suitable with flat sided balls.
Flat sided balls are tow balls that have two flat sides on the flange of the tow ball.
Correct fitment to the tow ball is critical. The entire base of the rack must sit on the tow bar tongue.
Check towbar manufacturer's specified tongue load is greater than the combined weight of the rack and bikes.
