Spot the difference: E-Rack 2 verse E-Rack 2 Pro

We like to update our racks based on the valuable feedback of our customers. This means we have a few generations of each rack. Our E-Rack 2 was an extremely popular rack, so rather than say goodby to something amazing, we made improvements and released the updated version - the E-Rack 2 Pro. If you are struggling to know which E-Rack 2 version you have, simply check this handy guide.

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE

Below shows side by side the most visually identifiable features that will help you quickly identify what rack you have. For a complete run down on how the E-Rack 2 was improved to become the E-Rack 2 Pro, have a read of this article.

Updated wheel trays:

E-Rack 2 Pro now fits up to 4" wide tires.

The E-Rack 2 Pro is shown on the left with wide 4" wheel trays. On the right the original E-Rack 2 is shown with narrow wheel trays.
Updated front wheel anti-sway:

The E-Rack 2 Pro has a robust ratchet strap and rotating front cradle to reduce front wheel wobble.

On left the front wheel tray of the E-Rack 2 Pro is visible with a rotating cradle that prevents sway in the front tyre. On the right is a close view of the front wheel tray of the E-Rack 2 which has no rotating cradle and simply features a rubber webbing strap.
Updated wheel guide:

The E-Rack 2 Pro has a deeper wheel guide to help roll the bike across the subframe.

On the left is a close view of the wheel guides at the centre of the E-Rack 2 Pro that helps guide a wheel from one tray to the next. On the right is a close view of the same region on the E-Rack 2 which has no guide.

And lastly, the E-Rack 2 Pro has the model name printed on the upright:

This image shows an Ezigrip E-Rack 2 Pro with an arrow pointing to the very visible logo on the upright that shows the model name.

Introducing the Ezigrip E-Rack 2 Pro e-bike rack

Our E-Rack 2 was a favourite amongst ebikers across New Zealand but they still had suggestions for how we could make the ebike rack even better. So we took on their advice and created the E-Rack 2 Pro; a rack built with ebikes in mind that has the robustness and security that all ebike racks demand, with features that make it even easier to use.
